Norma Escandon Michaels has over 30 years of commercial interior design experience on projects in Arizona, and across the world. Experienced in creating interiors for a variety of Private and Public sector projects. She currently serves as the Professional Development Chairman for NOMAAZ. Norma is an ASID designer, NCIDQ Certified, LEED Green Associate, and is the Principal/Owner of NM Interiors Group. She is also an award-winning designer with many published projects. Among her recent awards are:

• 2009 ASID Arizona North Chapter, Design Award, Office Under 5000 square feet, Client: Wagner Eye Care, Chandler, Arizona
Many of the projects she has worked on have achieved Silver and Gold LEED certification. She and her team are focused on delivering sustainable design for all their projects.
Norma is a third generation Phoenician who is committed to the desert that she calls home. Nonetheless, she has traveled extensively and designed projects throughout the world.
NM Interiors is a Minority, Woman Owned Business. It is certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by ADOT, City of Phoenix and City of Tucson. It is also certified by the Arizona Unified Certified Program. In addition, NM Interiors is an active registrant of SAM and Self-Certified WOSB thru SBA.
